LDs VAWTs incorporate a patented adaptive design that seamlessly switches between lift-based (Darrieus mode) and drag-based (Savonius mode) operation, ensuring high efficiency across a wide range of wind speeds. Unlike traditional turbines, our design retracts the drag elements in Darrieus mode for optimal performance at high wind speeds, while engaging them in Savonius mode at low speeds to provide high starting torque.

This dual-mode adaptability leads to consistent energy production across variable wind conditions, resulting in 30-50% greater efficiency than conventional VAWTs.
